india tour pushkar camelThe flourishing temple town built around the sacred Pushkar Lake is full of religious myths and faith. The holy lake has 52 Ghats (bathing places), where pilgrims take ritual dip in the lake. The biggest attraction of the holy town is the temple of Brahma – the lord of creation. The annual Pushkar fair held here on Kartik Poornima is one of the largest cattle fair in the country. Pilgrims and tradesman come here in thousands from far and near. The fair today has become one of the major tourist attractions of the state. Camel-cart races and various cultural events are organized during the fair.

Meet on arrival and transfer to Hotel. On arrival check in at hotel.

india tour india gateAm: New Delhi: the capital of the country has long been a phoenix rising again and again out of its ruins. Delhi is really seven cities in one, the first dating from the 11th century. See the famous Qutab Minar-12th century 238 ft. High stone tower, indeed a masterpiece of construction. New Delhi was the creation of the British Raj of the 30's and includes the president's house, parliament, India gate & the Rajpath.

Later drive Delhi/Agra (220Kms/04Hrs). On arrival check in at hotel.

Day 03 -17th (Tue) AGRA/FATEHPUR SIKRI/JAIPUR (B/D)

india tour taj mahalAm: Visit Taj Mahal - Visit Taj Mahal at Sunset (closed on Friday) - Unquestionably the world’s most magnificent monument to over built in 17th century. A colossal, perfectly proportioned mass of white marble, it is literally a jewel, fashioned over 20 years of hundreds of skilled craftsmen and over 20,000 laborers to float like some fantastic mirage upon the Yamuna.

india tour agra fortAgra Fort: The Agra fort was once the flourishing centre of the Mughal Dynasty, and four successive emperors helped to create its massive walls, within which Hindu and Muslim styles merge into a splendid fusion of military might and lavish beauty.

Later drive Agra/Jaipur (250Kms/05Hrs), visit Fatehpur Sikri, Chand Baoli enroute. (Please note that Chand Baoli is heritage site as step well and tour of approximate 15 Kms one way.) It’s worth the visit.

Fatehpur sikri: about 40 km from Agra lies the magnificent deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri, the capital of the great and loved emperor Akbar. During his brief stay here, a great complex of Forts, Palaces and Mosques sprang up, but Akbar was finally forced to abandon his dream city due to scarcity of water, and it became a ghost town. This epic poem in sandstone lies straddled across a rocky ridge, surrounded by immense walls with nine gates. The largest of the gates is the Buland Darwaza, and it leads to the Jama Masjid and to the fantastic tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisti which lies under an elaborate marble canopy and is lavishly inlaid with mother-of-pearl.

india tour agra fortAbhaneri (Abha Nagri or the city of brightness) is an important tourist place located 7 km to the South-East of Bandikui. Abhaneri is believed to be established by Gurjar Pratihar king Samrat Mihir Bhoj.

Chand Bawri is a popular step well in Abhaneri, located close to the Harshat Mata Temple. It remains one of India's deepest and largest step wells

Continue drive to Jaipur. On arrival check in at hotel.

india tour agra fortAm: Amber (palace) fort with elephant ride: the original palace of the local rulers was built in the 17th century high up on a hill overlooking a lake, the towers and domes of the Amber palace are reminiscent of scenes from some fairy-tale. Their hall of victory is richly decorated with panels of alabaster with fine inlay work of tender colors. You ascend up the palace on board gaily-caparisoned elephants.

Pm: Jaipur city: this 18th century city (capital of Rajasthan) is famous as “the pink city”, because of the local rose-pink-sandstone used in its construction. The fortifications give it a medieval atmosphere, but its well-planned layout is “modern”. Visit Maharaja’s City-Palace, situated in the heart of the city with charming gardens surrounded by high walls; palace of winds, a uniquely designed five –story structure with tiers of overhanging balconies of pink sandstone; Maharaja Jai Singh after whom the city was named, being a keen astronomer built an astronomical observatory which is still in use.

DAY 05 -19th (Thur) JAIPUR/PUSHKAR (B/D)

After breakfast drive to Pushkar (140Kms/03hrs). On arrival check in at hotel.

india tour pushkar camelPm: Pushkar: The biggest of Rajasthan's numerous fairs, Pushkar takes its name from the Pushkar Lake near Ajmer where it is held annually. A dip in the holy waters of the lake is considered auspicious, witness splendid sunset view from the lake. Also visit world famous Brahma temple.

Visit the Brahma Temple (holy) may be hereby people can ask their wishes for true love to be fulfilled by the Hindu god Brahma who is known for writing the human fate.

DAY TO ENJOY PUSHKAR FAIR (our guide will assist). No transport in Pushkar because vehicles are not allowed into the fair. All meals are provided at your hotel.

After breakfast drive Pushkar/Udaipur (290 kms / 7 hrs) via Ranakapur.

india tour pushkar camel1200 hrs Ranakpur temple will open at 12 Noon: 90 kms from Udaipur in a quiet isolated glen, is a remarkable complex of Jain temples of Ranakpur (1440ad). Built during the reign of the liberal and gifted monarch Rana Kumbha, these temples, though belonging to a late period (15th century), when the peak of the classical age was already past, are a unique example of Jain religious architecture. Temple consists of 29 halls and 426 pillars full of sculptural decoration. No two pillars are alike here.

Continue drive to Udaipur. On arrival check in at hotel.

DAY 08 -22nd (Sun) UDAIPUR (B/D)

Am: Eklingji Temple: 22kms. From Udaipur, Temple built in 734 A.D cut out of sandstone and marble. This is a complex of 108 Temples enclosed by High Walls. The Temple is devoted to this particular deity, which was worshipped by The Maharanas of Mewar.

Nagda: Very close to Eklingji is Nagda, named after its founder Nagaditya and is one of the most ancient places in Mewar. There is Hindu and Jain Temples, notable among which is the Sas-Bahu Temple dedicated to Vishnu.

Pm: Udaipur city: visiting, city palace - situated on elevation on the eastern bank of Lake Pichola; Jagdish temple-close to the city palace is this 17th century temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu; Lake Fatehsagar; Nehru Island Park; jet fountain; Maharana Pratap memorial overlooking lake Fatehsagar is Moti Magri hill. The hill now is dedicated to the memory of Maharana Pratap & also visits Crystal Gallery at Fateh Prakash Palace.

Evening – Boat ride on Lake Pichhola Lake (Seat in boat basis) Enjoy the picturesque lake that entranced Maharaja Udai Singh. It was later enlarged by the founder. The lake is surrounded by Hills, Palaces, temples bathing ghats and embankments. Two island palaces, Jag Mandir and Jag Niwas {Lake Palace} on the lake are of breathtaking magnificence.

DAY 09 -23rd (Mon) UDAIPUR/DELHI/DEPARTURE (B)

Enjoy the stay at Hotel (Room till 1200 Hrs).


Later transfer to Udaipur airport to connect flight to Delhi

Booking conditions - We request a deposit of $500.00 per person, to proceed with all reservations. The balance is due 60 days prior to departure, and final documents are sent 30 days prior to departure.

Rates - All rates are quoted are based on current tariffs and rates of exchange and are subject to change. Government taxes are based on current rates and are subject to change.
